Home Recording Connection is a social media website I built before “social media” was a thing, for newly developing home recording musicians to talk, share their recorded music, their gear, gig pictures, opinions, ideas and most importantly fun discussions about the challenges and rewards for recording their own music as at the time I built it, it was a very newly emerging technology to the common middle class musician.
The site included product catalogs for affiliate marketing, ads for revenue building, and methods for users to promote their music, their bands, their sound businesses and related things.
Now with the fact that such technology has become more commonplace it has lost traffic and demand, but continues to be available and ocassionally sees some action.
