Meddata handles transactions for medical bill payments. Their main development team are all .Net programmers, and somehow they acquired a PHP based administration application to handle such management tasks.
I was brought in to update this management portal that was very out of date and on old versions of server side and client side code to make sure it stays compliant with data handles regulations, and for general security concerns to mitigate possibilities of exploits.
Their platform for this application is PHP based, some procedural, some MVC based. It gets it’s data from a DB2 install utilizing the Zend framework to run the communication between the two.
